Arthritis & Plus is the first physiotherapy clinic of its kind in the Outaouais focused primarily on arthritic conditions. We also offer therapy sessions for people with balance problems and/or general deconditioning following hospitalization. Our model of care differs slightly from a conventional physiotherapy clinic. Our approach emphasizes functional rehabilitation, education, prevention and pain control according to a biopsychosocial model.
We not only use physical treatment techniques (exercises, manual therapy, education) but we also integrate into our sessions (when needed), breathing techniques, mindfulness, yoga, sleep hygiene… This in order to ensure better pain control so that you are at your best!
A passion for arthritis patients
Physiotherapist (BSc PT) graduated from the University of Ottawa (2007)
From the start of my career, I have always been passionate about neurology, chronic diseases and geriatrics.
I have worked since 2007 at Montfort Hospital as a physiotherapist on the medicine units, short-term rehabilitation unit as well as in several outpatient clinics of the hospital with postoperative clients, at the chronic disease management clinic and also at the knee and hip replacement clinic (Arthroplasty clinic). It was while working at the Arthroplasty Clinic (2010-2020) that I found a passion for arthritis patients. I realized that there were few community resources available to clients when the “arthritis” diagnosis fell.
It is therefore my mission, in the Outaouais region, to begin my physiotherapy practice so that people with arthritis can enjoy a quality of life that reflects their image!

The clinic offers all its clients individualized sessions lasting 50-60 minutes. This makes it possible to establish a deep therapeutic relationship, better management of the disease and facilitates the achievement of personalized goals. We care about the whole person.

People with osteoarthritis and/or inflammatory arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (“axial” spondylitis), psoriatic arthritis, etc.)
Post-operative clientele (knee replacement, hip replacement, shoulder replacement, orthopedic surgery of the wrist, ankle, etc.)
People with balance problems and/or who have fallen in the last year
People deconditioned following hospitalization
For people with osteoporosis
*Unfortunately we do not accept any client who claims a work or car accident with the CNESST, the CSPAAT (Ontario) or the SAAQ.
